Champion curry maker!

The winner of the annual Hot Hot Curry Night cook-off has been revealed.

A record 20 curries were on offer at this year’s sellout event on Saturday 4 February, an imaginative range from veggie South Indian “avial” to curries with sausages and even haggis!

The event, a fundraiser, was the first held in the refurbished Thomson Pavilion Suite.

The winners were:

* CHAMPION CURRY: Lamb Panneer
Number 16 on voting slip.

* RUNNER-UP: Curry Wurst “Essen”
Number 17 on voting slip.

Number 6 on voting slip.

Congratulations to all three, who win prizes and even better, the admiration of all at the Cricket Club!
