Record-Breaking Season + Senior Awards

Many congratulations to all the teams after one of the best seasons for nearly two decades.

Two senior teams carried off league honours, with all four achieving positions in the top four.

  • FIRSTS: secured third position in the North East Premier League, the highest position for 17 years
  • SECONDS: won Division 2 by a margin of 25 points, after chalking up no fewer than 14 wins
  • ACADEMY: achieved fourth place in tightly fought battle, just 10 points behind second place
  • THIRDS: won the West Tyne League Division 2, now promoted>
  • The results created a great send-off for Seconds captain Phil Hudson who’s now stepping down for work reasons. He’s pictured here at the celebrations for winning the NEPL Division 2 Trophy.

    And the Thirds team rewards the creation of this new Saturday squad by Nick Humble.

    The season saw great commitment across all squads with further record-breaking performances by Club Captain Jacques du Toit.

    Academy: Gregor Pearce
    3rd XI: Alistair Poll
    Clubman of the Year: Rob Walker
